| Partnerships Conference shares ideas |
Over 180 delegates attended a conference at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park in late November, hosted by the Integrated Sustainable Education Partnership (ISEP), in collaboration with the Local Council Partnership Program.
The event was designed to provide an interactive forum for sharing ideas on sustainability education and what it means to work in partnerships in this field.
Environmental psychologist Dr Doug McKenzie-Mohr provided a keynote presentation at the event, and participated in a lively panel of industry leaders to discuss the current state of environmental education.
A highlight for many delegates was the interactive Display Train Expo which offered a total of 31 exhibits manned by the ISEP partners, as well as representatives from Local Government, Environmental Management Organisations, NGOs, campaigners and volunteers.
This project has been assisted by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust
